We know if you are stuck at home, life’s not much fun. Our volunteers provide door to door transport, assistance and friendship for anyone in need.

Do something amazing—volunteer today. We urgently need more volunteers in East Fife.

Would you like to help people in your local community? If you have a few hours to spare then we would like to hear from you. Our volunteers share time because it is enjoyable and rewarding. You will be fully trained and all expenses reimbursed.
Volunteering changes lives
Volunteering with the Royal Voluntary Service won’t just help transform the lives of older people, it will change your life too. A couple of hours volunteering will make
you feel great. You will be amazed what effect one
conversation, one laugh from someone who has spent days alone or a heartfelt thank you can have.
Volunteering gets you out and about
As a volunteer you won’t be stuck doing the same thing and you certainly won’t be stuck indoors. Our volunteers will ensure that our clients are transported safely to and from various medical and personal appointments.

To find out more contact us on 01592 269 654, email fifegnhs@royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk or write to us at
New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy KY1 1XT.

There is a charge to use our service to cover volunteer’s expenses. This will be explained in detail when you contact us. If you are visually impaired, you may be able to use our service free of charge with support from the
Lady Margaret Skiffington Trust.
We also have two minibuses for use by community groups and clubs.

All our volunteers undergo a PVG Scotland check and are subject to a rigorous recruitment process.
